Janice K. (Masunas) Sterrett

Janice K. Sterrett, 74, of Logansport passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born on March 29, 1948 in Ludington, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Mary (Cook) Masunas.

On February 7, 1982 she married Lee Sterrett.  He preceded her in death on February 9, 2006.

Janice was a caregiver for many years and also was formerly employed at Switches/Federal Mogul in Leiters Ford.

Janice was a member of Landmark Baptist Church.  She formerly volunteered the at VFW and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.  Janice enjoyed reading, playing bingo, spending time with friends and family and taking care of her beloved dog, Rosie.

Survivors include her sisters, Darlene Masunas of Kewanna and Bev Whiteman (Kenny) of Kewanna.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by daughter, Jill Sterrett, brothers, infant Dean Masunas, Harry Conran and William “Bill” Conran and sisters, Kathleen Masunas and Bernice Damaron.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport. 

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.

Burial will be at Paint Creek Cemetery near Camden.
